Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (CLSP)
Great intelligence asks for great guidance, something that Thakur International School is proud to offer its students.
The Secondary Programme at Thakur International School integrates the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (CLSP) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Examinations. The CLSP (grades VII & VIII) is a natural progression from the primary curriculum and acts as a seamless link between primary and secondary school. At the end of the LSP the students appear for The Cambridge Checkpoint Exam.
Students at the Lower Secondary Programme are initiated into wider subject areas so that by the end of their two years at lower secondary, they become familiar with their core subject areas. They can, therefore, acquire sufficient knowledge and skills to identify their preferences, and eventually streamline into specific subject groups for the IGCSE Examinations that take place at the end of Grade X.
